Beached Whale

When I was pregnant with Joel I took a pic like this 3 days before he was born and felt like a "beached whale." This picture, incidentally, ended up being 3 days before Bria was born!

We got together with Jen's Mom's side of the family - Joel had lotsa fun hanging out with his cousins & 2nd-cousins!

Independence Day

Joel was having sooooo much fun at the top of the slide, but slipped on some pea rock on the metal stairs and scratched up his face on the concrete slab at the bottom! Gotta love old school playground equipment. Ya know, I make fun of how ridiculously "safe" the newer playgrounds are...but maybe I'll back off on that.
