Our Christmas Letter

Here are the "Cliff Notes" for 2007:

Kirk
earned his MDiv from Trinity in May (whew!), and switched from part-time to full-time to be the Associate Pastor at our church -- Meadowland Community Church in Johnsburg, IL. We are so thankful for the friendships in our church! And of course, Kirk became a father in June with the joyous arrival of Joel Keith, and those two are continually entertaining each other. Joel greets his Daddy with a special level of excitement.

I (Jenny) began the year pregnant and working in Trinity's Records Office, until one dramatic day in June when I became a full-time mom. I absolutely adore taking care of this little guy! God has blessed us so richly. We are completely undeserving of such wealth.

Joel arrived on June 5th, and has led an exuberantly joyful life! People continually ask, "Is he always so happy?" Yeah, pretty much!! Joel's Grandma Trudy said it seems that God has given Joel an anointing of joy, as mentioned in Psalm 45:7. He especially loves jumping up & down on someone's lap, being sung to, and chewing on everything & anything. He gives great hugs, and brings so much joy to our home.

As we celebrate the birth of Christ, I am amazed at how much He has given us. He gives us so much to enjoy as we get to know Him on earth...and He gave the ultimate gift
when He sacrificed His life-- the hope of eternal life to all who trust in Him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
